The playing of several thousand potential ‘drummers’ (drum sound oscillators) derived from an RGB image. Each track is one single  drum loop, composed through triggering by a graphic score in 2048 pixel space. Conceptual/title reference to a somewhat obscure Dr. Seuss movie.

Painting (literally) with loops. For each track, a graphic ‘score’ was ‘painted/drawn’ on the computer  screen and interpreted by the re-synthesis (via several thousand! dedicated oscillators) of a single loop in RGB/pixel space.

First in a new proposed series in a ever-growing catalog of personal dubplates, this time of ambient textures approached from a mathematical context (conceptually).

“In mathematics, especially in geometry and topology, an ambient space is the space surrounding a mathematical object. For example, a line may be studied in isolation, or it may be studied as an object in two-dimensional space — in which case the ambient space is the plane, or as an object in three-dimensional space — in which case the ambient space is three-dimensional.
