A repost (and as an individual post it had gotten completely lost in the ‘blog to ‘WordPress’ site transfer), this defines an entire catagory of musical concerns for me…now by key and ‘radio play’ friendly (3 minutes max track times). A ‘rumination’ on some influences…Joe Meek, Mouse On Mars, Akita Masami (Merzbow), Harry Partch, Asmus Tietchens, and the associated personnel (Jan St. Werner, Andi Toma, Pita & his label Mille Plateaux, etc).

Another entry in the ongoing ‘Mouse On Merz’ series. Listening back, funny how those 80′s new age electronic music CD’s (ala Peter Baumann’s ‘Private Music’ label) come back to haunt my sonic choices in certain cases. But cool
